The 8 List: I've Been Tagged! You May be Next!

Now, without further ado, I bid you adieu so you can marvel at my 8 list. ;o)



8 Things I Am Looking Forward To:


  1. Fitting back into those "skinny" jeans
  2. Getting anything published (i.e., magazine articles, Chicken Soup submissions, and the novel I've been writing for a while, now)
  3. All of my boys going to school tomorrow, so I can get some major Spring cleaning done, now that it finally feels like Spring.
  4. The day that my kids' support me.
  5. Seeing my family back home in Texas
  6. Mom's night out . . . 2 days and counting the minutes
  7. Sleeping in the next day
  8. Finally getting my house organized

8 Things I Did Yesterday:

  1. Packed up all our winter clothes (hopefully until September)
  2. Took the dogs to the vet for annual vaccinations
  3. Steam cleaned the living room and family room, which took for freakin' EVER
  4. Finally finished writing chapter 10
  5. Had my first article publish at Divine Caroline about my son and his journey through his lifelong illness and kidney tranplant *Please feel free to come by and rate/comment.
  6. Watched the Idols compete for the top 5
  7. Clipped all those darn coupons. Have to save money somewhere, you know?
  8. Laundry, laundry, laundry, oh . . . did I say laundry?

8 Things I Wish I Could Do:

  1. Get a maid
  2. Get a Masters degree (maybe after the nest is empty)
  3. Trade the gas-guzzling Mom mobile for a hybrid SUV
  4. Convince the kids and hubby to do all the housework and let me just relax for a week or so (Yah . . . like that's EVER going to happen!)
  5. Go to a Spa
  6. Get a new wardrobe for all seasons
  7. Shoot the breeze with Robin Williams, my all-time favorite comedian
  8. Snap my fingers and look like I'm 20 again


8 Shows I Watch:

  1. Heros
  2. Gray's Anatomy
  3. Private Practice
  4. ER (so sad it's going away)
  5. Castle (this is the best new series in a very long time. I love the quick-witted humor)
  6. American Idol
  7. Just about anything on the Discovery Channel
  8. " " History Channel
