AWESOME Blogging Friends and More Awards!

One of my absolute favorite things about blogging is meeting so many wonderful people I would have never met, if it weren't for blogging. I am truly blessed with some awesome blogging friends!

I have had the opportunity to really connect with people I have never met in person-- sharing personal experiences with raising special needs children with those who can truly relate, as well as giving and receiving advice through their stories or one-on-one interactions. For this, I am truly thankful.

This, otherwise, isolated feeling of raising children with special needs has become an inspirational journey through the lives of other families who experience similar circumsta
nces. This world has become a much smaller, more comprehensible, more welcoming place. I owe this sense of belonging to all of my blogging friends. Thank you so much, everyone! You have touched my heart in so many ways!

BWS tips button Stacie of Super Mommy to the Rescue is definitely one of these friends. She has three children, including a little 7 year old boy, named Dakota, who is autistic. One of my 7 year old twins, Alex, is autistic, and so this is how we connected.

Stacie has gifted the following two awards to me. For some reason or another, she thinks I am adorable and uplifting. I told her she was mistaking me for someone else, but she insisted.

Here are the rules for the Adorable Blog Award:

1. Include the award logo in your blog or post.
2. Nominate as many blogs which you like.
3. Be sure to link to your nominees within your post.
4. Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Share the love and link to this post and to the person from whom you received your award.

I am assuming the rules for the Uplifting Blog Award are essentially the same. Please take a few moments to connect with these wonderful bloggers. I guarantee you will enjoy your time there. So, without further ado, I give you my nominees:

Congratulations on winning those awards :)
The blogging community is really helpful in getting support and help. Somehow, sharing experiences and lessons with each other really makes the experience more inspiring and motivating. I'm sure you've been a source of inspiration to lots of moms out there as well :)
